A flat tire call is easier to arrange when the location, vehicle, and spare-tire details are clear. This checklist covers what to tell us so we can discuss a tire change or a tow.
If anyone is injured or there is an immediate emergency, call 911. Do not step into moving traffic to inspect a tire or retrieve a spare.
1. Give us a location we can find
Share the address or nearest intersection. On a highway, tell us the road, your direction of travel, and a nearby exit or landmark. Say whether the vehicle is on the main road, a frontage road, or inside a parking lot.
Around Beltway 8 and SH 225, those details can help distinguish one pickup point from another. If the vehicle is behind a locked gate or in a parking garage, mention the access restriction too.
2. Explain which tires are affected
Tell us whether one tire or several are damaged and which side of the vehicle they are on. Mention a damaged wheel, recent impact, or anything else you have already noticed.
You do not need to diagnose the tire. Explain what happened and what you can see without placing yourself in an unsafe position.
3. Tell us about the spare
We change flat tires using your usable spare. We do not supply spare tires or replacement tires, and our service does not include patching the damaged tire.
Let us know whether a spare is available and whether you have a wheel-lock key if one is needed. If the spare has not been checked, say so. Our tire-change service page explains what the service includes.
4. Have a towing destination in mind
If there is no usable spare, more than one damaged tire, or no suitable place for a change, discuss the towing option. We can help with a tow home or to a tire shop you choose.
Have the destination address ready and check that the shop can receive the vehicle. Read our flat tire without a spare guide if you need help comparing the options.
5. Confirm the service, price, and arrival estimate
Ask what work the quote covers. A spare-tire change and a tow are different requests, and the vehicle's condition and access can affect what is needed.
We take roadside assistance and towing calls 24/7 from our Deer Park base, serving Pasadena, La Porte, Baytown, Channelview, and South Houston. Call with your details so we can discuss the right help for the situation.
After a spare is installed, follow your vehicle's instructions for its use. NHTSA's tire guidance is a useful source for general tire maintenance and safety information; your owner's manual provides the instructions specific to your vehicle.
